today.. i took half day leave, and to go ... the body shop warehouse sales
total damage: $99.20
i havent expect to spend so much.. i was only prepared to spend about $50... but i just cant control myself.. ending up with more n more.....
it could have been worse... coz i did put back some stuff... else.. how much will i spent!!!

its been so long since i last went that area... and i was soooo astonished to see the ferris wheel there! im quite excited to see it... every country seems to have ferris wheel... and now singapore gonna have 1 too!!! and i read it can see all the way to... msia.. or brunei...
i dont know... its just so exciting! waiting for the completion, with all the light-up!

I had sneakily snapped a picture of the ferriswheel-in-the-making. it looks tad bit ugly now... but im sure it will be very pretty when its completed. well... u cant see iT? look harder.. its right behind everything!

a day of sun

finally finished watching the 4 vcds which i had rented. it was more of a chore than an enjoyment coz i was forcing myself to finish watching all the shows as i have to returned by today. if not... FINE!!!
anyway, let me do a review.

1. Date movie - totally crappy show. dont watch it if you can help it.... its an empty show which is only for cheap thrill... not even worth my $3!
2. Happy Birthday - not that nice too.. though the idea is quite romantic.. but silly though. about this ger and guy , and this ger is afraid of getting into a relationship with this good fren of hers coz to her, friend is forever. bf will lose contact after breaking up... hence every year during their birthday, they will wish each other happy birthday. til 1 year, the guy was 2 days late of wishing her. then this ger's friend found out tat the guy had passed away, and he told his mama to continue wishing this ger happy birthday every year. the ending was... the ger still doesnt know he is gone..... end of story...
typical love story.... yawnz
3. Click - great show! totally enjoyed it. there is humour and meaning in this movei. abou this workaholic (michael), who ignored his family and such. his life juz zoomed by. there was this scerne which really touched me. he was a 60 yr old stage kinda guy and his son told him tat his dad(michael) has passed away. he then requested for the "god" to send him back to the moment his dad passed away, but was told that it is impossible coz he was never there... then he asked him to bring him back to the last time that he saw his dad. it flashed back to a scene where the dad went to his office to find michael. but micahel was buried in his work and did not even lay an eye on him. instead, he was agitated and chased him away.. the dad was upset and still said" i love you son". upon seeing this scene, micheal sort of like wake up..
that was what were happen if he really continue working like this. but lucky he managed to wake up "young". everything was in fact like a dream. now he is living the life he should. great show, catch it if you can!
4. The lake house - pretty nice show too.. with nice actor (keanue Reeves!:P~~~) and actress (Sandra Bullock). As this show was highly raved by AK, i decided to watch it. pretty romantic and unusual storyline which is about 2 persons who are meantfor each other. but they are living in 2 different years... 2006 and 2004. they tried means to meet each other...
finally, they did.... :)

today got up early again as i had to go bai bai my ah ma n ah gong and ah yi. this weekend is tiring man!
everytime i see my ah ma pic, i feel like crying. shes the one whom i had most contact with, amongst my grandparents. i really missed her.... hope shes good in the other world!
i realised that im such a selfless person. coz in all my prayers, i prayed for my mama, papa , bro, sis in law... then myself and every1....
see... im not the 1st 1 in the list! How come i am so .... kind?

then went to pray to my aunt. she is some1 whom i never see b4. she passed away quite young. according to the tales, shes a very popular ger. pretty, smart, lovable, gentle... u name it... my mama told me b4 that she was being chased by many people, including those rich and handsome guys. and my relatives claimed that i look like her! but why doesnt i have her fate? i mean.. choy!! not as in short lived... but in the chasing of the rich and handsome guys... alrite, i have my fair share of suitors, but never a rich and handsome 1 leh! come on rich blokes! I am here!!!! hello?>??

If you had followed my blog closely enough, you would have noticed that occasionally i mentioned abt my bestmate. this bestmate of mine... all i can say is.... BEST! some times back, he changed his hp, and he smsed me to sms him his phone number (as he couldnt remember). ever since then, we have been making a joke out of it... i wil somtimes msg him his hp number out of the blue, and out of the blue, he wil ask me for his hp number. tody i was springcleaning my hp when i saw those messages again! hence i decided to irritate him again.

last topic of the day, b4 i try to do some real work for irritant. Juz now i was on the bus, and i witnessed a damn ugly digusting sight! few old folks got up the bus, and a couple gave up their seats for them. such a heart warming scene eh? i was lookin kindly at the couple, when suddenly something rude caught my eyes. i saw.... i saw...... i saw lotsa armpit hair on the ger's where else but arm pit! it wasnt intentional.. i dun have a fetish for arm pit, but somehow her mane caught my attention. yewwww.... disgusting! i wished i could offer her a shaver! Why doesnt she shave?? and she was wearing sleeveless top ok... oh my god! my fellow female mates... pls pls.. rem to shave off ur arm pit hair.. its unsightly ok?

then he took tissue from my colleague. its those kinda 3 ply thick hankerchief style. then he took out each ply and gave to the others.. then he said so thick... waste...

then back in office... i got a sd card for my boss. using ak's membership price... and my boss said in front of every1: your gf buy for me 1!

Whats up with my life last week....? nothing worth mentioning til friday. Friday was in a happening mood... hence went out with my friends to chill out... @ holland v... wow.... its happening man!!! I wished i feel happening more often.... chilling out is life man!
then saturday, went to orc til late too.. though not so much of chilling out.....

today...... im on a course... target account selling... in fact, today and tomorrow..... its not really relevant to me... coz its more for the sales people... and my boss sent me there so i can know more...
but i seriously dun think i absorb anything! they are juz wasting their $!
it's @ a hotel in orchard... and the feeling of goin orchard.... is nice....... and i managed to catch 40 winks too!!! is it 40??? hmmmmm

i was late! supposedly, it is to start at 830, but i tot its 9.. hence i only reach at 9... and this woman said.. every1 is waiting for u

we had our teabreak and during teabreak, i hung around tarzan. well.. from my team, theres only tarzan and ak and myself... and as usual... ak is out puffing... lucky tarzan doesnt puff... so we were bioing the other meeting's food... and they had much more interesting food than ours! it was a gahmen meeting at the other side... and tarzan asked me to go get the food for him... of coz i refused... then later, he went over and queued up for their food! wahahhaa... and he brought back and haolian to every1 abt his food! hahaa hes quite cute today....

then lunchtime.... i was quite alone coz.... nobody i really know.... then i sat at a table by myself... (woooo.. so pathetic!)
then the very nice ak came over and sat with me! he said he dun wanna leave me alone... oh.. what a nice guy he is.... then tis tarzan walked past us and commented: why are the 2 of u together??? subsequently, a philippines and tarzan joined us....

then teabreak again..... this time.. our teabreak was better than the gahmen meeting 1... wahahahaha
oh then finally,,, the course end for the day! and he gave us homework to do! but... i dont think im doing man..... yawnz... im too tired to do it!

this nicely ak offered to help me with my lappy.... as it was quite heavy and since he offered and since he wasnt carrying anything, i let him carry...
then we went jumbo seafood and had a seafood feast. gosh! the crab claw was gigantic!!! and of coz.. yummy!!
this ak sat beside me, and with him around... i feel so safe....
coz i wil get all the food.. wahahaha.. he will make sure he kiap everything for me... thats how gentlemen he is.
theres tis vietnam guy who kiap prawn for the ladies( theres only 2 ladies, fyi). then the guys commented that ak got a competitor(in term of gentlemen-ness). then suddenly, ak called the vietnam guy and showed him a peeled prawn... and he put on my plate! whahaahaha.. he peeled a prawn for me!!! that was quite funny! haha
then tis tarzan started to blabbering nonsense like... ask me to be careful of ak... dunno what ulterior motive he has. i drank some beer juz now, and ak dun drink beer... then tis tarzan was saying.... oh very dangerous.... wait i drunk.. and ak no drunk... then very dangerous... that was the reason why ak dun drink....
wahahaha.. then tarzan go comment to my boss to be careful of me and ak....
my boss said: they are both adults. they can do anything they want after 530
wah kaozzzzzzzz..... this mini boss of mine...... haiyooo.... damn cock.

then... its time to go home.... me and another lady wanted to take mrt home... but this ak insisted that we take cab home so we can go back earlier and rest... so fine, we were tempted to take cab anyway....
so ak went with us to wait for cab.... waited quite long....
finally a cab come.... and this ak pushed $20 to me.... asked me to pay for the cab.......of coz i pushed back the $, but he persisted... then i took the $.....
oh man.... hes.... so nice right? but tmr i gonna return him the $, but i guess he wunt take it back 1.....
i wished more of such gentlemen like ak will appear within my vinicity... pleaseeeeeee

Ak drove me there.... i felt so paisay... coz he really crossed the ERP thingy... and made him pay extra... and what was his mission? it was merely to drive me there.... he has no neeed to pass thru erp.... i wanna stop him.. but not in time.. coz he was blabbering away... i got no chance to intercept... hence... i juz go with the flow....
but in the car, his wife called him... and as he wasnt on handsfree, he turn on speakerphone... his wifey sounded fierce! and was in a bad mood.. coz she couldnt get air tix to return home from her biz trip... and ak suggested something... and the wife snapped back at him..."this is not an option!!! dont suggest such options.. its not an option for me!"
wooo.. fierce! and im like sitting beside... trying to act nonchalent... i was peering out of the car window to look at the movie preview @ lido... whahaha i feel so paisay.....
then later when they hanged up, ak complained abt his wife.. alittle lah.. said she dun understand... said women have high expectation of their spouse....

Yesterday, went to catch "music and lyrics", starring hugh grant and drew barrymore.... great show with nice songs! and i really think hugh grant is cute... i have always admire him from afar... and would try to catch his movies... like.... love actually, about a boy, nottinghill, etc etc... i juz think hes full of charisma! but in this movie.... could see his wrinkles.... like he's aging... feel kinda sad.... how nice if handsome/pretty people dun aged... and remain good looking as always....

and whats worse.. yesterday, i took a close look at my eyes...and discovered a line!!!! OOHHHH MYYYY GOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!! wrinkle!!!! i am aging!!!!!!!! damn!!!!!! think i laughed too much.. its those kind of line caused by my eyebag which will push my eyes when i laugh... alrite... gotta stop being a happy nut, so that i wunt have wrinkled eye.... *some1 get me anti-wrinkle eye cream pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!!!*

yesterday, we had a birthday celebration for..... Old man!! Yes, it was his bday on 8th March... Ak bought a cake for him... (so sweet of him huh?). But 1st, we brought him out for a lunch.... went crystal jade and ate til stuffed too... coz ordered quite alot.... well, we are supposed to buy old man the lunch, hope ak will let me pay my share on monday too! Yes, im not a sucker... i pay what i should! :)

As usual... it was a fun lunch.... with the jokers..... (but im lazy to recall his numerous jokes)

then we cut cake late noon... it was a yummy blackforest cake! As expected, we sang a birthdy song for old man REAL LOUD! think whole office heard it... and we especially sang Happy Birthday to *his full real name*(so every1 will know its his bday!)... wahhahahahaa

so nice.... and my boss come tell us... seee.. next time muz let people know ur bday.. we will celebrate for u.. with fireworks and all... whatever u name it.....

it's been a hard day night...

I promised I will go to bed after finishing this blog....

juz a liner to sum up my day....

IT'S NOT MY DAY!

1. i missed my free shuttle bus... all bcoz of an uncle who hogged the stairs... and this nice gentlemen in front of me who quietly followed behind the uncle. As I knew my bus was already there.. and moving off soon.. i had no choice but to act impatient and "s-q me!"
Ran down... but.. to no avail... the bus juz slipped away... right in front of my eyes.. without me, of course.....

sigh.. great! I have to take public bus... and spend $! its not only abt the $ part, i have to walk longer too!!! grrrrrrr

2. then my funny LITTLE boss came and tell me..."you have been watched"
apparantly, some fella claimed that i always go home on time.... and im warned by my boss to at least work late and act busy lah....
wat the fish...... well.... after that, my brain processed the likely candidates.... i cant think of a better person, than.... ...... ALI!!!! I guess it should be him who would have noticed my trend and have the courage to say me! Oh well.... going home on time is a crime.....
why did people ever state the working hours? when you are not supposed to follow it? whats the point??? and do we really need to work so hard?
Reminder! I am juz a lowly paid contractor... give me a break!!!!!

3. alright... so today i stayed til abt 7... then flew off to catch the shuttle bus... but darn... the bus was full... and i had to wait a good of abt 15 min for the next bus to come.....

what a day!!!!
Hoping for a better tomorrow, as always......
I must remember to get up from the right side of the bed......

This morning, i was on my bus....
then at a bus stop... as the bus was driving off... the bus driver spotted a fella running for the bus, and decided to stop the bus. As the bus was moving away, it suddenly stopped... and 1 of the joker aunty fell down.... why i called her "joker"?

coz when shes up on her feet, she threw a dagger stare at the driver and shouted out loud
"how can u do that???? just bcoz of 1 person, how can u do that????"

she was shouting at the top of her voice and the whole busful of us were startled. she fell really bad and i saw her head kok onto the bus thingy.... was rather concerned that she may hurt her head.. but after seeing her capable of scolding people, i knew shes very alright..

Question: what did the bus driver do wrong??? he was merely doing a good deed by stopping his bus for that passenger... and she as a responsible passenger should hold on to the handle mah... who asked her to try to be heroine and walk without holding on to anything????
**Fans! Be vigilent! even if the bus is not moving, grab something to hold on... u never know what will happen on a bus ok!**

If shes the 1 who is chasing for the bus, i think she wunt screamed "how can u do that???!!" so sub standard huh... we human are soooo selfish.... only care abt MYSELF, MYSELF and MYSELF. Stopping for other people is ridiculous? Stopping for "ME" (i cant emphasize enough abt the ME hence the Bold and Cap) is... justifiable?

crazy aunty.... i think she deserved her fall.. to teach her a lesson and drummed into her tiny brain that the "bus is moving".

When she got off the bus, i saw her pointing at the driver, as if to threaten him....
i felt like rushing forward and say... "uncle...li mai kia... wa zuo li eh witness"(meaning,: uncle u dun scare, i be your witness)

I hope i wunt ever become such a cranky aunty who earned the critics of a beautiful and rich(coz im goin to win toto tonite!) lady(i mean ME!).
Anyway, i guess i wont ever be taking buses anymore too! After tonite... yes baby..... my world will changed after tonite... tonite is the nite..... yes! yes!!!!
