me a miser?

I am very ashamed of myself...
I have lost the tint of sweetness in me...

incident 1:
went for a gathering with my ex dept from HP... thinking that they are all guys, they wouldnt buy xmas presents for me... hence i went empty handed (except for 40 sticks of satays, which was later paid by james). I received presents from them without me giving them! gosh! i hate myself for being so stingy at that moment. it is a season for sharing aint it? worse is.. even a mcp like chris also brought presents along! gosh! i hate myself

incident 2:
i bought a cheapo present for my other half.. costing less than $10, whilst he gave me something worth 300 times!

incident 3:
my other half sis bought present for me, and yes... i didnt buy anything for her! except for a $5.90 small boy for her baby boy

incident 4:
went for gathering with couple of friends and all of them turned up with beautifully wrapped presents.. what did i have for them? last min gifts of chocolates bought from watsons. when i open their gifts, i am deeply ashamed of myself........

i promise... next year, i will revert to my former santa clausy self again.. pls excuse me for this year!

jane the aspired tissue paper seller

there is this old man that i see everyday on my way to work. he is always sitting at a bench, under the cool shade of the trees, reading a book... and beside him are packs of tissue papers. he is the tissue paper seller!

I kinda envy his job.. he dont do hard core selling.. basically he juz sit there with the tissues. some kind hearted soul will approach him to buy. he didnt have to walk around solicating, dont have to "beg" people to buy. basically he juz sit there, reading his book.. wat a job rite!

i wonder if i can join his professionalism anot?

xmas is coming!

Its that season again.. that time you feel like everyday is xmas eve.. xmas is coming soon.. there is no need to work hard.. you can always start working hard in the next year to come.. you get the drift..
and im experiencing that much of xmas now! plus the urge to buy xmas gifts for every1!
but due to the current financial crisis the economy and Me in, i have to be cruel and reject all temptations to buy presents for people. Hello!! i am a lowly paid staff... i got no $ for xmas gifts for u all ok?

But still, i would like to wish every1 merry xmas! and I am sure there is always some money somewhere out there.. for you to buy me a xmas present.
Come on! you should do your part in cheering me up! its a sharing season leh!!!
