its a brand new year...

wow.. it has been a while since i last blogged...
reason being.... laziness.. hehee.. wat else can it be?

anyway, lots of changes in my life to update.
1st thing, i'm married!!!
still adapting to my MRS life now.. meaning.. have to help out in some house chores, living with new family, once-per-week mama cooked dinner, sharing bed with my BELOVED hubby.... etc..
it can get abit tough sometimes since its such a big change to an individual, but im coping well... get abit home sick some times...

ok... next... bcoz of my wedding, im entitled to an event call.. honeymoon! we went to the beautiful hokkaido, and it was really a wonderful place...shall detailed the trip next time....
oh i miss the place...

hmmm.. tats all for the day...
my blogger passion has yet to rekindle.. but i think.. it will come back soon.. pls anticipate!

ni hen chen shi

i did a good deed this morning.

i went to 7-11 to buy 2 packs of HL milk which supposedly cost $5.35. promo pack... each pack actually cost $3.20.

the uncle just scan 1 pack and ask me for the payment of $3.20... i looked at him with my wide eyes n said... i thought 2 packs is 5.35?

then he realised he didnt scan the 2nd pack.. thats why its 3.20....
he thanked me profusely.. and smiled.. and said.... ni hen chen shi.. meaning.. u r very honest......

i gave him a wide smile and think... hehee.. indeed i am....

when i came out of 7-11, i thought to myself.. if i didnt have been so honest.. i could have saved.... $1++? that would be a steal for me rite? 2 packs of milk at the price of 1! why was i so honest!! sort of regret my earlier act...

well.... my 1st instinct was to alert the guy.. hence i guess.... im honest by nature. he he!

As i am residing in Bt batok if you have not already know.. yes.. the place where there was massive bush fire on the hill top....

i am really touched by the fire fighters when i saw them this morning, their clothes stained with mud, their faces were lethargic.. it is a sign of how hard they have worked OVERNIGHT...

ok, a brief if you dont follow up with news/ or Stomp for that matter, bt batok is a hill region and 2 days ago, there is a hilltop which caught fire....

it is near a place where i will pass by everyday when i take my feeder bus. 2 nights ago at about 10pm, there was a traffic jam. traffic jam rarely happen in that area... all the vehicles were moving in a snail pace... when i was nearer.. then i know why....
there were water hoses on the road... they had gotten the water outlet from across the road... hence vehicles have to travel real slow and carefully so that they dont burst the waterhose.. every1 do their part...we all drive carefully over the hose to prevent any damages which will hinder the fire fighting.

Yesterday morning, the roads were cleared. I was glad that the fire is out.

However yesterday nite, the fire fighters were there again.. with more water hoses around this time. Inevidently, there was a jam... I was quite worried.. fire again???? gosh.. what is happening! I really hope they will put out the fire soon....

This morning, there was traffic jam again. the firefighters were packing the stuff...i guess they had just finished fighting.. they all looked so worn and battled and were sitting around to have a rest. I was really touched by their efforts... they fought overnight... up the dark dark hill... i saw ladder up the slope.. they must have climbed up the hill to fight the fire from another angle.. i guess thats more of preventing the fire from spreading to this area.

I really have the urge to stand up and salute to the firemen, but im afraid people will stare at me! they really deserve some credits for their efforts...

I hope they will receive some kind of awards/rewards for fighting.. this is no lean tasks... i am really proud and glad that these group of people are here to protect us!

it's just the right accessory for my wedding lunch...
imagine this sleek looking, beautiful thing lying in the front of the venue, with all eyes on the laptop... thinking.. wow.. thats such a pretty laptop... just as pretty as the bride... what a good taste she has!

I will use it to store my photo montage, and used to flash it during my banquet....
I will take pictures with the laptop, which happen to be in the same color theme as my evening gown... just imagine the beautiful sight of it.. my knees go jelly just thinking about it...
what a perfect laptop for me!

I am a humble person

I humbled myself to a dinner at My Humble House. The price was a humble $888 too...
It was a company CNY dinner..
my feel... it was not tat extraordinary.. not worth the price....
the onyl thing which i felt was yummalicious was the prawns, and also yusheng.. other than that... even the sharks fin and braised abalone failed to impress me... the "chicken chop" was so down to earth... and the dessert.. gosh... yucks.....

personally.... i wont think its worthwhile to spend so much @ humble house...
